Varieties & Grades
Our leading variety is Murcott — a late-season, deep-coloured mandarin with high Brix, firm segments and excellent shelf life through long sea transit. We also supply Fremont, an early-to-mid-season variety with fine skin and a rich, aromatic flavour. Both are offered in Class 1 export grade, sized and colour-sorted in modern packhouses; Class 2 fruit is available for wholesale and processing outlets. Leafy or de-greened presentation can be arranged per market preference.
Sizes, Packing & Palletization
Mandarins are typically packed in 8–10 kg open-top cartons, with plastic crates and smaller retail packs available on request.

A 40ft reefer loads roughly 20–22 tonnes net of mandarins depending on pack style and pallet height.
Season & Availability
The Egyptian mandarin campaign runs from November through March. Fremont opens the season in November–December, while Murcott carries volumes from January into March, when its colour and sugar peak. This timing places Egyptian fruit squarely in the strongest demand months for easy peelers in the Gulf, Eastern Europe and Asia.
Logistics & Shipping
Mandarins move in reefer containers set at +4 to +6 °C with ventilation, loaded from Alexandria, Damietta, Sokhna or Port Said. Gulf destinations via Sokhna are typically reached in 4–8 days, Mediterranean and North European ports in 8–14 days, and Southeast Asian markets in 14–25 days, with African lanes served from both the Mediterranean and Red Sea sides. We supervise loading, verify pulp temperatures and share photos before departure.

Each container ships with a phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and the destination-specific documents your customs broker needs. Fruit comes from GLOBALG.A.P.-certified partner farms and is packed in HACCP and ISO-certified facilities, with residue testing aligned to your market’s MRL rules and full traceability from orchard block to carton.
