A part-load booking calendar answers one question: in any given month, what can you actually put on a half pallet out of Egypt, and how far ahead do you need to say so. Mid-size buyers lose more money to booking late than to paying too much per carton, because a half pallet that misses its consolidation waits for the next one.

Why the lead time changes month to month
Lead time on a part-load is not about the fruit, it is about how quickly a shared container fills. In September and April, when fewer buyers are shipping, a half pallet may wait a week for co-loaders. From November through January, citrus, onion and potato programmes compete for the same reefer boxes out of Alexandria and Damietta, so the constraint flips: containers fill fast but space is scarce and expensive. Booking three weeks out in that window is not caution, it is the normal requirement.
What you can load in any month
IQF products, dried herbs, legumes and pulses are not seasonal in the same way, which makes them useful ballast for a part-load. If your fresh item is short in a given week, filling the rest of the pallet with IQF strawberry, okra or molokhia keeps the shipment economic instead of postponing it. Check the set point before you combine months
The calendar tells you what is available. It does not tell you what can share a container. Citrus at 4 to 6 C and mango at 10 to 12 C do not belong in the same reefer, and an ethylene producer next to an ethylene-sensitive item will shorten the shelf life of both.
