Oranges are not booked as part-loads: they ship in full 40 ft reefers only and are never loaded with mandarins or lemons. Any part-load or half-pallet booking, for any product, is on request, subject to approval, with no fixed pallet minimum. The calendar below covers the lines buyers ask to book in each month.
Last updated: October 2026
A part-load booking calendar answers one question: in any given month, what can you actually put on a half pallet out of Egypt, and how far ahead do you need to say so. Mid-size buyers lose more money to booking late than to paying too much per carton, because a half pallet that misses its consolidation waits for the next one.

The month-by-month picture
| Month | Lines buyers ask to book as part-loads (on request, subject to approval) | Book by |
|---|---|---|
| September 2026 | Late Keitt mango, pomegranate opening, IQF, legumes | 10 to 14 days ahead |
| October | Pomegranate at volume, sweet potato, taro, onion | 2 weeks ahead |
| November | Pomegranate tail, green beans, roots (Navel oranges: contracts from early November, full 40 ft reefers only) | 3 weeks ahead, space tightens |
| December to January | Murcott (mandarin part-loads on request, subject to approval), onion, winter vegetables | 3 to 4 weeks ahead, peak competition |
| February | Fresh strawberry, IQF strawberry | 3 weeks ahead |
| March to April | Potato, IQF strawberry, herbs | 2 weeks ahead |
| May to June | Grape opening, onion, IQF | 2 weeks ahead |
| July to August | Mango, grape, fresh fig, guava, IQF okra and molokhia | 2 to 3 weeks ahead |
Why the lead time changes month to month
Lead time on a part-load is not about the fruit, it is about how quickly a shared container fills. In September and April, when fewer buyers are shipping, a half pallet may wait a week for co-loaders. From November through January, citrus, onion and potato programmes compete for the same reefer boxes out of Alexandria and Damietta, so the constraint flips: containers fill fast but space is scarce and expensive. Booking three weeks out in that window is not caution, it is the normal requirement.
What you can load in any month
IQF products, dried herbs, legumes and pulses are not seasonal in the same way, which makes them useful ballast for a part-load. If your fresh item is short in a given week, filling the rest of the pallet with IQF strawberry, okra or molokhia keeps the shipment economic instead of postponing it. Formats are in our note on Egyptian IQF products in part-loads.
Check the set point before you combine months
The calendar tells you what is available. It does not tell you what can share a container. Citrus at 4 to 6 C and mango at 10 to 12 C do not belong in the same reefer, and an ethylene producer next to an ethylene-sensitive item will shorten the shelf life of both. Compatibility rules are set out in mixing products in one Egyptian reefer. Build the order around one set point first, then pick from what the month offers at that temperature.
Peivana consolidates half pallets and mixed containers on request, subject to approval, GLOBALG.A.P and BRC certified, on CFR / CIF to your port, or FOB Egypt. Oranges are not part of half-pallet consolidation. Send your month, products and destination port to +20 10 9911 1918 on WhatsApp and we will confirm today’s price and the next consolidation date.
Peivana is the exporter, not a neutral reviewer. Availability windows reflect a normal season and shift by one to two weeks with the weather. Confirm current status before fixing a shipping date.
